Kick off

Out with Juno early this morning for a pleasant walk.

Eco son and his pal wanted to go mountain biking so I dropped them off at Innerliethen. Initially I was going to head to Hawick to watch Gala play Golspie in the Scottish Cup but decided on the Edinburgh City v irvine meadow game.

Back home and a catch up with the rest of the family before heading down to Meadowbank. A bit of a buzz as Latapy had signed for the home team and they were trying to milk it with tshirt for sale.

Not bad game 0-0 at halftime, Irvine came out with more purpose and a quick move wide and a cross met by the striker hit the net.

City left it late to put the pressure on and a couple of near misses left them out of the cup.

Rancid and I headed to a supermarket to do an undercover alcohol pricing survey, interesting since I never really go to these shelves and the pricing strategies.
