It snowed!

Question to landlady: 'Does it ever snow here?'
Landlady, firmly: 'Not until after the New Year'


We woke up and the mountains were covered in snow. After a short drive up the road to Col de Verde, we had to stop and turn back because the roads were too icy. This blip is of Cozzano, which is just around the point where we had to turn round.

We saw lots of red kites on this short drive - glorious birds, but I captured only silhouettes.
