Brighton spex

I had a lovley afternoon in Brighton catching up with a friend I hadn't seen for an embarrassingly long time. Still, it's as if I saw him last only yesterday - great fun!

In the evening, F and I walked down the South Bank, catching the World Press Photo 2007World Press Photo 2007 exhibition at the Royal Festival Hall. I loved the picture of a magnified splash of seawater - fantastic and fascinating! Though, I suspect that if I'd ever seen that as a child, I wouldn't have stepped in the sea again! That was a lighter note - there were many thought-provoking photos that were disturbing (the sex abuse in Spain, the old Kenyan woman carrying her cat through her burning village, the sad procession of executed mountain gorillas).
