roadside lough

Ah the bliss of a lie-in. Did the chores, made an unrealistically large list of things to do over half-term then went for a walk, Grey and drizzly but this seems to highlight the rich orange-brown of the bracken and bog grass. This was taken on the old bog road going over the mountain towards Bantry. The little lough is beautiful, full of bog bean and lilies in the summer, now just fringed by orange grasses. It's a wild and remote spot and the light and colours change dramatically and constantly.
