Dark blip

Terrible day for blipping. Cloudy and grey all day, very frustrating. Plus I spent all day at work waiting for a meeting that never happened.

It takes me about an hour and a quarter to fetch both boys and get home, so it was nearly 6 when we were back and despite some half hearted snapping at bathtime I had no blip.

So we had tea and watched the last episode of Grandma's House on Sky+ and I started to perk up. I decided to take some shots of the dried flowers in the living room but grumpy husband said I should just accept that I would miss a day's blip and give up. Of course, that spurred me on! In fairness, he did offer for me to blip his new slippers(!) which are significantly more pointy than they looked in the packaging, so he looks like a clown in them. But then he became mischievous and turned the light off. I escaped to the kitchen, where I had everything set up until an arm reached slowly round the door and with an evil chuckle, the kitchen light went too! Laughing, I said, "I'll do it anyway" and I was really pleased with the effect!! Ha ha ha ha, I am the winner :-)
