Under the Bridge

This mural , under the railway bridge, was painted many years ago by local school children. It has lasted well. The children will now be adults with school children of their own.

The tunnel under the bridge leads to the local woods. Not a place you would normally go to on your own, but I decided not to be a sissy. I wish I hadn't.


I met a big scruffy man with some little scruffy dogs. The dogs were sniffing at the ground and digging it up. I could see that the man had a mole held tightly it one hand. It was alive and twitching. I didn't take a photograph for the following reasons:

First, I didn't think it was a good idea.
Second, I didn't want a photo of an animal that had been dragged from its home.
