Quiz League again.....tonight we made it 3 wins out of three...playng the Social Club.

A nice easy win, helped by round 4 having the title "Cigarettes", both teams scoring 4 out of 8 with some really easy questions for the smokers on each team.
My individual rounds were "Cooking Pots" (Which cooking pot is traditionally used by witches?) and "Broadcasting Alumni" (Which University was attended by news reader Selina Scott?)

I blipped the supper tonight which wasn't up to the usual standard, being minus the chips and all served on white bread, but a selection of Coronation Chicken, Corned Beef, Ham, Tuna and sweetcorn, Egg, and Turkey breast sandwiches with a bit of salad was enough to feed us and several other people in the pub.

Several beers and a couple of fag breaks also went down well.

Next week we play The Pack Horse, the only other undeafeated team in the league, so someone's 100% record is going west!!!

Got a cracking question right tonight..."Which mythological symbol, in the constellation Taurus is known to astronomers as Messier 45?" Don't know where it came from but dragged up Pleiades from somehwere, and then got the pass over bonus"Which Japanese car manufacture is named after the japanese word for Peiades?"....Subaru( worked out from the 7 stars on the marque).
