Another emergency blip.

Chess pieces.....from a Manchester United Champions League chess set I was bought for Christmas 2000.

In blue the Holy Trinity of Bobby Charlton, George Best and Denis Law from the 1968 campaign.....although the Law Man didn't play in that final when Benfica were beaten 4-1 with goals from Charlton(2), Best and Kidd....... played at Wembley Stadium.

In red the Trio of Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, Ryan Giggs and David Beckham from the 1999 final.....when Bayern Munich were beaten 2-1 with goals from Solksjaer and Sheringham.....played at Barcelona's Camp Nou stadium.

The pieces have rarely been out of the box, I don't play much chess.....mainly because I'm crap at it........but maybe one day they'll be worth something........Antiques Roadshow in 2050...taken in by Charlotte?

Hope I get a chance of a better shot tomorrow.....but I do have a full day at work and a 6.00 p.m. finish so I'm not holding my breath.
