A slice of Lesley's life

If you look very closely you might just see the speck of orange in the tree. This is the helmet of the guy getting our trees in order. Actually I'm not sure this is our tree as it is on the railway bank but not only we are we the only ones bothered by it, I'm sure we are the only ones inclined to do anything about it.

And we haven't really got around to doing that. Good fortune meant that a knock at the door from the tree surgeon doing some work across the street sorted out a job that has been firmly lodged on my not getting round to it list for quite some time.

A few more such pieces of fortune and my life might be a bit more sorted. Instead I'm slightly feeling in chasing my tail mode but all good stuff and nothing I haven't chosen. I should just get a bit better at keeping my mouth shut at certain moments.

Instead I'm off put tonight for another planning meeting. This one is to organise an improv evening for my theatre group's annual dinner. Am actually looking forward to it as I love working with my co-organiser.

That, and I really need a drink...
