Treats

Carl has been away one night this week and is away again tonight. With me out last night it has really felt like ships that pass this week. So it was a lovely treat to be able to do drop-off together this morning and steal away for breakfast and a much needed catch-up.

The rest of the day has been as packed to the rafters as they all are these days. Which is no bad thing - I certainly prefer it to the alternative. Just have to make sure there are treats snuck in their too.

So, with the kids in bed I've had a lovely bath with the newspaper (just G2, anything else would be impossible to manage in every way) and am now settled in an armchair, wrapped in a blanket ready to have dinner whilst catching up on the first episode of Downton Abbey.
