Jazz Hands
I am currently without camera :-(...I won't start naming names but someone dropped it and not surprisingly it is not very happy. Tomorrow will find me at the camera shop with everything crossed for a speedy, inexpensive recovery. Please don't feel the need to burst my bubble in advance.
So instead I am having fun playing with the built-in camera in my lovely new Mac laptop. And when I took this picture about 45mins ago it was a good reflection of my mood. Since then, I have had to listen from the next room to my children behaving appalling for their Spanish teacher and consequently had to remove them in turn to ball them out. So I'm 'feeling it' a little less.
Perhaps if I slip away and practice some of the moves I learned at my first tap-dancing class this morning I can revive the jazz feeling.
Most of the rest of the day has been given over to prepping for a school meeting tonight to kick off the school Christmas Fair which I have agreed to organise. I'm hoping my foolhardy, "how hard can it be?" attitude which carries me through so much of life won't bite me on the backside with this one. But really, it happens every year and I fully intend to reproduce a carbon copy of last years.
Carl is away for the night in Paris, though apparently a not very pretty industrial part, so I won't be too envious.
Oooh - time for me to dash for my Spanish lesson. I am delighted to report that the balling out worked and the kids have been model pupils for the last 20minutes. Thank goodness I don't have to try extra hard to make up for them.
Adios amigos!
