A slice of Lesley's life

Blue skies

Frankly, with weather like this the chances of my making the transition from holiday mode to any other is probably impossible. I shall accept the inevitable and not expect work to feel anything other than something that is being squeezed in. And as much as I generally enjoy it perhaps that's not a bad space for it to occupy anyway. There are lots of bits of life competing for space at the moment and I think I should enjoy that there is so much variety all the time and stop thinking it should be a bit more orderly. And all the bits are bits I like.

And there are even the occasional quiet moments, like this one, that involves lying in the sun whilst a friend's child I am looking after plays in some sand and my kids run around a football pitch and a tennis court respectively.

I like this shot of the sky as it reminds me of the last blip I took of our summer holiday in Spain and it makes me happy that we do nice weather too.

But possibly the nicest treat today is having guest chef MrB (usually to be found as house chef for SooB) doing something with pork and some of yesterday's apple sauce.
