Something more challenging for today? Well I did a few hundred yards of the route on Inverness's Ness Islands. Maximum altitude about 1 metre above river level. And the Gaelic? Nobody can read it - there are more people in Inverness capable of reading Polish than Gaelic. But Highland Council are awash with money and choose to spend it on what they call our "cultural heritage".
