To catch a fly

Damp early morning with a nip in the air. The sun just began to push through the haar when I got to the shop before breakfast for the daily paper. I was just seeing Alison off to work when she noticed this web between the branches of our crab apple tree which overhangs our "forecourt". No sign of its owner. The branches are long and thin so sway a lot in the slightest breeze. So it might not last very long.
