Rogie Falls

We had a visit to Rogie Falls today. We thought it might cushion the blow of the grandparents leaving if they departed from a neutral location. No such luck unfortunately, Abigail still sobbed her heart out for a full 20 minutes and wasn't even consoled by the £15 pocket money she scored. Luckily she did cheer up when we got to Tescos and realised she could spend her money on a Disney Princess hair styling set complete with battery operated hairdryer. I am now sporting a very stylish hair do complete with bald patches where she got a bit over enthusiastic with the curling tongs.

The one downside of having visitors is that my nice tidy house has now reverted to a midden. Not due to the actual visitors, more because I can't keep up the usual level of nagging when there are other people in the house and Neil gets even more sloppy than usual. We are now up to two pairs of boxers, one pair of jeans, one pair of trainers and a t-shirt lying on the bathroom floor. Wonder which will run out first- my patience or his supply of pants.
