Chocolate Monsters

Saw very little of Abigail today as when her grandparents come to visit we always comea poor second best. But when we arrived back from Inverness she had her friend Gregor round for dinner and I am now able to add "stop throwing cheese at each other" to the list of things I never thought I'd say before I had children (other phrases on the cheese theme include "that's the tv speaker Abigail not a cheese grater" which was said as she stood rubbing stilton into my dads new tv).

This photo is of the pair of them enjoying the chocolate cake we made the other day. It tastes great but was let down a little on the appearance as the top layer started to slide causing a sort of cake avalanche. Luckily Neil managed to avoid it turning into a total disaster with the clever use of a couple of Duplo bricks, some tin-foil and a couple of jam jar lids. Thank goodness I married an engineer.
