Chop Suey
Today we spent the morning at church and lunch out with our church family...chatting away while kiddos played in the bounce house at Del Taco :) We dropped Liam off at Cody's and they were on their way to the Lodi Grape Festival. Then Gary and Landon went out canvasing the neighborhood to sell some Otis Spunkmeyer cookie dough, the fundraiser their school does every year. Being in kindergarten, he was anxious to do the selling since we dragged him along on his brothers selling adventures in years past.
While they sold cookie dough, Loren and I worked on a collage together. We re-did his room a few months ago...but hadn't had the time to make his camp collage for his wall that he had been wanting to do. He's had an empty IKEA frame hanging up for quite a while! It was fun working on it together and perhaps will be my blip photo when it arrives from Snapfish. We made it about 3 times with Picasa defaulting to the wrong size twice on us...so that part was a bit frustrating.
When Gary headed to youth group and Liam had returned from the Grape Festival (wearing a new shark-tooth necklace), we headed over to pick up the photos from Walgreens for Liam's Star of the Week Poster. When we got home, I decided dinner was leftover chop suey from last night's celebration. I'm seeing a pattern of leftover nights on Sundays. I talked about the family's chop suey recipe in yesterday's blip and I'm sure my photo doesn't do it justice, but here is a picture of the family favorite.
