Canal Day 3 - Enjoying The Views

I was glad folks enjoyed yesterday's speeding narrowboat! Today I met the young lady who was part of the team taking people for a party afloat and I gave year my blip address so she could have a look at it. They had noticed us both out with tripods and had taken shots of me blipping them! I thought their flashes might has spoilt the image but they didn't.

Today, more locks and swing bridges. Chippy drives, The Man (having had many years at the tiller) likes to be out and about doing the locks. I know may place, I used to have the Galley Slave mug but it got broken so the blonde on the First Mate is my current position!

We will get to Leeds tomorrow but not beyond, there are some problems with locks being closed and also us not having an anchor for river cruising.

EDIT: It's turned out so appropriate to have a cyclist in this shot. As I was busy checking out my blip at the front of the boat a cyslist fell off her bike. 3 of ran with the first aid kit to check she was ok. Very nasty cuts and grazed but no bones broken thankfu.lly
