hidden heart

sometimes things appear right under our noses.... as i was passing my one and only african violet, i glanced down. there was a new leaf growing. i did a kind of double take thinking my brain was playing games on me. but no i thought it does look like a heart hidden underneath there.

and thought it was just so delicate looking, waiting for me to notice it and very green after all in what is turning out to be a somewhat dismal day for me. and to me, green can perk you right up.... it is lively, filled with verve.... i'm feeling a bit better already.
