Homework Hassles

My blip photo of the day was between a praying mantis that was the treasure of the day (found in our side yard) and this photo of Landon during homework time. I picked Landon because it best sums of the time of the day that we're currently struggling with....HOMEWORK TIME! Wild props to you homeschool moms....for whatever reason I must not be considered an adequate teacher by my kids because the tears start flowing. I'm hoping it's just the long days and the attention span of a just-turned 5-yr.-old. I can remember having a bit of the same struggles getting Liam to focus at this age. Unfortunately our homework area tonight consisted of the mini-van overlooking the soccer field (it was Loren's practice with the UK players). He slid onto the floor of the van in this picture at a time when he was getting frustrated.
