Gymnastics Again, FINALLY!

Since this weekend is Labor Day Weekend, Loren & Liam both had the night off of soccer practice. Landon still had practice, so we went our separate ways...Gary to soccer with Landon and Liam and I to gymnastics. It had been WEEKS since Liam has been to his favorite activity. He has really missed his gymnastics but we seem to be unable to work it into the soccer schedule with all 3 boys playing. I got a few pictures of him tonight, but of course am not pleased with the blurriness of the photo. Unfortunately that's all I had to go with, though, so that's my blip photo. His instructor, Chris, is helping him to do a back handspring. The gymnastics facility allows no flash photography...so I don't suppose I'll ever get a decent picture there unless I get a photographer to come in and take them.

Tonight was a highly emotional night. My family met up at church after soccer and gymnastics for a prayer service for a young lady at our church. She has had a brain tumor for quite a while now that has been managed and contained, but it has just recently become aggressive and the prognosis isn't good. Everyone came and prayed with her and showed her our support and love. It is so very sad to see the difficult time this sweet girl has endured...as well as her family. I have a special attachment to her in that she's been the only babysitter we've had outside of family. It's times like this when we realize we really don't have control and we just have to let things go and give it up to God.
