Sleepy Head
Look who grabbed the top bunk while brother was away at a sleepover! This little boy who couldn't quite keep his eyes open for a picture as he was so tired. Loren has Chris and Jesse over tonight...so Landon tried his best to stay awake for games and a movie (Rio) with them. He did pretty well.
This morning started with the usual Friday Town Hall at the school but little did I know I'd be spending most of the day at the vet getting exams for Scout and then returning with the kitten. Found out Scout has pink eye/conjuctivitis. Never knew a dog could get such a thing. Also never realized how much I could be dragged around like a rag doll by my beast of a dog that weighted in at 113 today. Was told no more treats for dog unless they're carrots and to reduce his intake because of his weight. I guess it's time for more exercise for him and I both!
By the time I dropped the pets back off at home it was time to do something very difficult to do....cancel Liam's gymnastics before picking them up from school. It was such a difficult decision considering he's been doing gymnastics for 7 years, from the age of 2 yrs. old to now, 9 years old. We haven't been able to fit it in our schedule any more due to the hectic schedule involving other sports like soccer and baseball. I don't see it as a waste of 7 years since he's learned skills and gotten exercise...but still difficult. Having to cancel it in person was the requirement, to sign paperwork and such stating the reasons why we were quitting, which made it all the more difficult. I guess we're onto a new chapter. :/
