CALM..

Photo from somewhere almost as bumpy as it is on the ground at the moment! But still there was a feeling of calmness and serenity up there in the sky.

It certainly wasn't a smooth flight, the winds were pretty strong, but the view was amazing... the helicopter has been flying inspectors and engineers and other suitably important people around for the last two days, over the quake site, viewing damage and surveying the area. This afternoon it was off back to its base, which happened to be in the direction I live.
Our house is the white two storied one in front of the racetrack, mid left front area of the photo.
Mr M scored his first flight ever, I don't think he has stopped grinning yet!
