Underground...

Well they were once a nice connecting pipeline running about 2 feet underground.
The earthquake on Saturday morning put paid to that, and now these two pieces of pipe don't join up anymore, don't run underground and certainly don't carry water.
There are lots of places where the water pipelines and sewer lines are like this, and then there are the places where its broken underground and you can't see it.
Hats off to the guys fixing the essential services after this disaster.
