Busy doing nothing....

......Nancy was off to East Links Farm in the sunshine with 150 Beaver Scouts for the annual District gathering. Owen went back to Judo after the summer break, so I took him along to Meadowbank and watched as he tumbled about the mats.

Later, I paid my annual visit to Waitrose for a moderate shop and marvel at the prices and labels on the clothing of the shoppers. Mind you, I did find a posher supermarket in Ripon last week; Booths...tres posh.

After a visit to Granny (always different), Owen and I stole a quick visit down at the bay to take in some fresh air, sunshine and icecream before toddling home to make lentil soup. It's not really soup weather yet, but watch the weather turn quickly when it's had enough pretending it's still summer.

Looking forward to my 10K tomorrow, early bed and no alcohol tonight.
