Early morning tetherball

Somehow the swim calander was changed and I hadn't noticed that Sat. morning breakfast and the team breakfast had been rescheduled. . .soooo, I got the big girls up early and we drove to St. Mary's to. . . .sit. . .and sit. . . and watch the football players get ready to leave for a game. After 10 min. of sitting and no one else arriving, we returned home for. . .an early morning game of tetherball! The girls got in some time with the tetherball set that Josie won at Elkhorn's BBQ.

After a morning of house cleaning, I took the kids to Lodi to the KIDS PUMP IT UP festival at Twin Arbors. It was a benefit for Lodi High Soccer and Vinewood School. The boys had a ball on all the climbing apparatus and bouncy houses. Josie loved making all the crafts and playing the games. Since it was a bit on the cool side in the morning, we didn't come prepared to swim although it was nice in the afternoon. Gracie met her friend Alicia there and they went back to Alicia's to meet up with some friends and see a movie. I ran into an old friend from UOP so we sat and visited for awhile and got to see some really cool karate demonstrations too.

We returned home for a late dinner and while Emily and Josie went to the park to shoot some hoops, Doug went to Lodi to pick up Gracie who had gone to see Despicable Me with her friends. When they got back we made Smores on the BBQ and then put everyone to bed.
