Friday Fun

At the Elkhorn BBQ last night, Josie won a tetherball set. Unable to fit it into the van, we made arrangements with Matt to haul it home for us in his truck. After getting the kids all off to school this morning, Jack and I met Matt at Elkhorn and got the tetherball set loaded into his truck. He dropped it off at our house for us. Thanks Matt!! We put it out in front on the sidewalk so all the kids from our court could enjoy it. We'll see how long before we get a nasty-gram from the homeowners association telling us to put it "out of sight" in our backyard. We wouldn't want anyone to know that kids live around here and actually play outside now would we??

Did my time on the treadmill and then after paying some bills, took the little guy to McDonalds for some nuggetts and play time. Fortunately there were a bunch of little ones between the ages of 4-6 for him to play with. He was a very happy boy for a couple of hours.

We returned home before the kids returned from school. Took Gracie to a birthday party for one of her friends in Lodi and got "cheapie pizza" from Dominos for the three at home. Emily's water polo team had their first scrimmage in Sonora today. After a dinner of pizza we walked over to the community pool for a little bit of pool time. Although the water was a bit on the cool side, they weren't complaining.

We returned home and they are playing outside for a few minutes until we need to go pick up Emily.
