favorite foods

now im too much of a food junkie (not junk foodie) to have just one favorite food, but this one rates right up there with the many other edibles i call favorites. carrots and hummus. really, a match made in heaven. and for those of you who have yet to fall in love with hummus, start eating it on vegetables. you'll love it too.

anyways, sunday evening before leaving my parents house, i slipped down to the garden to gather some veggies to bring home (the garden is my favorite place to shop). before even plucking those sweet carrots from their home underground, i had a plan for them.

so tonight i set out to make a batch of hummus, and joyful i was when it turned out amazingly, better than any batch in the past. utterly perfect it was! before i even got it out of the blender, those very carrots were being dipped in. yummm!
