cookie heaven

so while we're on the topic of favorite foods (see yesterday's post), these are the result of my current favorite cookie recipe. a dark chocolate cookie, not too sweet, with organic peanut butter and dark chocolate chips stuffed into the center.

always worth the (quite a bit of) time in the kitchen. soft, rich, chocolatey, with a hint of saltyness from the peanut butter. yum yum yum.

(and did i mention they're vegan! ...well, only if you don't substitute butter for the margarine the recipe calls for. what can i say? i dont really believe in margarine)
