Summer is over

With summer over and school about to begin, it was time for the haircut. My boys spent the entire summer outfitted in long, dreamy hair. They've actually always had short hair until this last year. My husband convinced me to let it grow long, and I have to admit I really do like it long. When they run, it just bounces in the wind all shiny and carefree.

Since the birthday party is tomorrow, I figured a haircut was in order today. And you can't just give one boy a haircut and not the other. So we enjoyed the wind outside, while I buzzed and snipped off all their lovely locks. I was covered in hair in the end, but it was better outside than in the house.

It's amazing how much older they look now. Growing so fast...
