The River runs through....
The Rhône River flows from the Rhone Glacier at Valais in the Swiss Alps at an altitude of 7,050 feet. It flows southwest as a great mountain river through the glacier valleys of Switzerland, turning northwest at Martigny to enter Lake Geneva near the Swiss town of Bouveret and exits it at the city of Geneva before entering France.
We crossed this bridge over the River Rhone several times today, and each time we crossed I saw a different face on the water. I love the view of the Swiss Alps beyond the lake and the Jet d'eau beyond the river...
