What E V E R....

She has a friend here for a sleepover, one she hasn't seen in months, and when I check on them in the bedroom find that they are both individually absorbed in their own electronic worlds.... she on the computer, the friend on the DS. The conversation goes like this:

Mom - Is this what you've been doing the whole afternoon?

"Yup"

Mom - Don't you want to do something together?

"We are."

Mom - are you going to do anything else while your friend is here?

"She's on the DS"

Mom - Will you look at me for one second so I can snap a photo please?

"In a sec..."

.... That went on in that fashion for a few more exchanges, but you get the idea, and can see the resulting photo...
