Synchoronized swimming

We were out and about town today and as we crossed the bridge over the river, we stopped to watch the swans. There were several pairs and these particular two were intent on keeping the others clear of what was clearly their lunch spot.

It was a lovely day, a tad on the warmish side but you'll not hear me complain - those frigid winter winds will be here before we know it. Our household was increased by one yesterday - the daughter of a friend will be staying with us for the school year to complete her last year of high school. It promises to be a positive addition to our family and we are all very excited.
