Replacements

Many of the lovely flowers we planted in the spring didn't survive my travels - seems they didn't quite get enough water. I had envisioned pansies as replacements, especially for the strawberry pot, but couldn't find them, so I let Claire pick out her favorites. Now every time I look at the too big flowers in the too small container, I will remember the fun we had choosing them and planting them.... it was one small piece of a very busy and rewarding day, and in the end, one of the most important.
