Laine de Mirapoix - Lundi Marche

The sheep that produce this wool are a German breed, and raised locally for their wool and cheese - a small operation run by a man originally from Germany by the name of Jurgen. The colors are the color of the sheep and the wool is spun in a local factory, one of a dwindling number in the region due to the prices available for such work in China. The price of the wool is astoundingly modest, so far we have 2 skeins, but Tom is angling for enough for a sweater - however, the last sweater I knit took me 4 years!
