VBS - Day 2

Today's word of the day was LOVE. And no, the animal wasn't a Giraffe (Friday's animal of the day is a Giraffe), but at the first meeting we had to prepare for VBS (see yesterday's blip for an explanation of what VBS is), we were shown this craft as an idea and giraffes being my favorite animals, I really wanted to do it.

Not all of the kids had time to finish their crafts, but the ones that did came out really cute! To prepare for the craft, we cut out all of the shapes and gave each kid the right amount of plates, but even so we had one girl who ended up with about six little plates. I'm not sure who was missing them, but her giraffe had an extra-long neck; that's for sure.
