Emily Is 15 Today!

Today is Emily's birthday!! It's hard to believe that 15 years ago today I was having my first child. How time flies!

As difficult as she was as a baby, she has grown into such an incredible young lady. She is so kind and thoughtful--I am so very lucky to be her mom.

Today was a school day. We got on the road a couple of minutes later than I wanted but it was like all the traffic lights knew that I had a birthday girl in the car and miraculously turned green upon our approach all the way into Lodi. Although Lodi apparently doesn't subscribe to the green lights for birthday girls philosophy we still made it to school a bit earlier than usual despite leaving our house a bit later.

Emily had water polo until 5:30 and after a quick dinner in the car for her we headed over to St. Mary's for promo. Bryan wasn't feeling well so Emily, Jared and Megan ran promo. This blip is of the Birthday Girl before the start of promo. We returned home for showers and bedtime. It's been a really lonnnnnng week with everyone's activities and school. We will celebrate Emily and Grant's birthday tomorrow.
