Crashed Out

As anyone who reads my journal on a regular basis will know, Ethan isn't great at daytime naps. On a good day, I'll manage to get him to sleep in the morning for 30-40 minutes but he usually only sleeps if we're in the car or he's in the pushchair being taken for a walk. However, today, I was still meandering around the house in my PJs at 10.30am and was desperate for a shower. I decided to just put him in the cot anyway and be hard hearted about the fact that he may cry for 10 minutes whilst I was in the shower. However, when I came out, the baby monitor was silent. I crept into the nursery and the above picture is what I found! He even slept for about an hour 20 minutes! Wonder how I can get him to do that every day!

After lunch, we drove through to Glasgow to meet my friend there and another friend who was over from Australia. It was actually the first time we'd met up with the friend from Australia in "real life", as she's another person we both "met" on line whilst trying to conceive our babies. We now all have a baby and they range from 3 months to 8 months. It was such a great afternoon with them all together.

Today was also a special day as it's my 10th wedding anniversary. Oh how quickly those 10 years have gone! Happy anniversary Brian - I love you lots!
