Fingers of the Piper

Watched a fascinating Indian Circus today at the Dun Laoghaire Festival of World Cultures. There were tons of things to see, do and eat but the outdoor circus presented by members of the Indian Community was my highlight. The guy who played the pipe, along with many other functions including conjuring, was a great character and here I have tried to depict both the texture and the delicacy of his fingers as they picked out the notes on his pipe.

ps. For those who don't know it, Dun Laoghaire (Irish Gaelic meaning "Leary's Fort" and pronounced, "Doon Layer-e") is a self contained borough just south of Dublin City, abour 30 minutes by train.
