Danau Toba - R&R

Danau Toba is an island made from an active volcano in the middle of Sumatra and what a wonderful place it is! It could possibly have been the most relaxing place we visited, with lots of reading opportunities and lots of running (George). We upgraded after one night to a place that looked out onto the lake with this view.

You can see a little hut at the end of the pier - this is where we spent most of our time reading and listening to music. It just felt away from everything, our little hide out with only one disturbance from a group of brazilian/french lads who took the opporunity of being alone (so they thought, we were above!) to boast about their manhood (!!) and whether they could pull the most attractive girl on the island. From what I saw spying on them through a crack in the floorboard, they had no chance!
