Barbed Thistles

I always love the fact that these thistles have such an attractive, soft flower crown in a beautiful hue and yet they stem from a stabby, thorny, sharp, jabby, prickly leaf and stalk. It has been known that I myself, have, on rare occasion, felt not unlike these flowers. But not today, I hasten to add.

I was in a charity shop today casting my eye over the handbag wares, as I am wont to do, (they were all only 50p each) and it occurred to me that Blipfoto, which seems to change a lot of how I go about my day, is even responsible for how I choose handbags now. A bag simply won't do if it doesn't have a bit of breadth in it to carry my camera.
