Appreciating the Firth of Forth

The wind has been the deciding factor of the days weather. It has billowed clouds hither and thither randomly, some darkened menacing greys, others fluffy white, and vivid clear blue shapes fill the cloudless gaps. And still it blows on.
North Berwick beach was scattered with people, presumably school holidays has boosted the numbers.
Donald and I rested in a field where Mayweed grew in large clusters, their white flowers with yellow centres attracting bees and insects and I wanted to take them up in armfuls and carry them back to my garden so I could look at them through my window. I get like that about wild flowers, I always want them, covet them: dresses, antiques etc you can keep them, just give me flowers growing outside.
