Four star accommodation
Today, hubby, eldest daughter and I spent the entire day working alongside Royal Marine Reservists. Our task was to act out a variety of scenarios using only Gaelic, a language that none of the Marines understood. We acted out things that would happen to them during their tour of duty to the likes of Afganistan no more can I say.
What I did learn is that irrespective of whether you think they should be there or not! it became blatently obvious that these guys were doing a very tough job with very little thanks. I now have a whole lot better understanding and respect for them and what they have to put up with. I have to say they were great fun even when we were hurling all sorts of problems at them from all angles.
This is our accommodation, the food was not too bad but the company was great and they had a wealth of stories none of which the media ever tell and they should!
It was a steep learning curve for us all but one that I will always cherish.
We worked from 10am till 10pm and boy were we tired! we all slept well thats for sure
