Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

Father's Day Flower

Sunny summer flower stolen borrowed blipped with my cheapie point-and-shoot. Didn't cost me a thing; didn't cost the flower a thing either. It's still at the grocery store, Albertsons near my house in the walk-in refrigerator floral section (in case you'd like to have it).

I stopped in the store after church to get aspargus, summer squash, bell peppers, and onions to sauté a savory delicious lunch, and we did and it was delicious!

It's been a quiet Father's Day with my children's father. My best friend. The person I choose to be with more than any other. We've had a restful, peaceful, enjoyable day. Eating, napping, playing with my our new iPad. Basically just messing around, wasting time, simply being unproductive, and confessing it for the world to know.

The children, now adults, are/were busy today. No biggie. It's a Hallmark Greeting Card created holiday. One designed for Hallmark to rake in bucks. They got very few of ours this year.

Thankfully I had a coherent moment in the grocery store and thought to steal a photo of some flowers; even though flowers do not seem quite apropos for Father's Day, I'm going to enjoy them anyway. Now all of my blip friends can share the enjoyment.

Have a great week. Good night from Southern California.
