Common carder bee
Returning to what I've now discovered is a patch of Bugle Ajuga reptans that attracts quite a variety of visitors. It's already been blipped for an Early Bumblebee which are the less common of the two Bumblebees that frequent it. Today's offering is the Common carder bee Bombus pascuorum being the more common visitor and according to The Bumblebee Conservation Trust it's abundant everywhere, the only common all-brown bumblebee.
I really hope it doesn't have a complex about being "common".
