Fete Face

School Fete today.

For the first time, my daughter decided to abandon us throughout the whole event and just walk arm in arm with various friends in search of cool non childish things to do. She's 9. But in the last year it feels like she's leapt from 3 to 14 (any mum of any 8/9/10 yr old will know exactly what I mean)

Thankfully, our younger son still liked to hang out with us a bit.

However, face painting, it seems, is still cool. And fine. As is posing for mum just as the job is done. I love how great she is at being photographed
