first supper

tonight we had our first meal on the new patio. Homemade falafel are just yummy yummy especially after a hot and busy day. I need to practice saying 'spicey sauce' properly though.
Aïsha's tooth fell out whilst eating, which added some extra excitement, we've been waiting for the moment for ages as it was looking pretty bad.
After food we planted things in the half of the garden that is now devoted to veg and herbs. I think we've now got enough salad in various stages of growth to keep our falafel filled for many months.
Next step in the new-patio-process will be buying garden furniture - I thought I was being stupidly extravagent until I put our old stuff on the beautiful new stones...and then I suddenly realised that our garden 'furniture' is just an old trestle table from P's granny with half a sari on top to hide how awful it is and a few manky old chairs that a neighbour gave us ten years ago when we moved back to Swissland and had no patio chairs....
