Deep green world

Away for the weekend, staying with friends who have just bought a holiday home in Perthshire, on the road to the Scottish highlands. It's in a spectacular location, surrounded by forests and lush countryside. We made the slightly foolish mistake of opening a couple of bottles of wine as soon as we arrived, so by the time I made it out into the woods to find something inspiring to photograph, the world had become a little blurred around the edges, just like these ferns.
