Better blues

When your bedroom faces east and you still haven't got round to getting blackout blinds, you can't really complain when you wake every morning at the crack of dawn...
Today I was up at five and out the door 20 minutes later for a fast two-hour walk around the deserted city streets. Dazzling sunshine but biting wind, hence the need for speed.
I passed this hoarding about 6.30am as it caught the full glare of the sun. It's at least two metres tall, which means if you twist your neck the right way you can just about avoid seeing what it screens - the ugliest building in the entire city. I was so happy when they started to demolish it a while back. But from the look of things the demolition money ran out midway through - the concrete monstrosity has only half gone.
It's a building that was made for grey skies and miserable rain, not a beautiful day like today. I'm sure its moment will come...
