Contrasts

I enjoyed another walk in the gorgeous weather yesterday. We have been spoiled with summer-like temperatures and today was not exception.

As I walked I noticed the leaf and was taken with the fine details of the leaf and the solidity and roughness of the rock. It is an interesting contrast of soft gentleness and solid permanence. I also like the soft blues of the distant sky showing through the branches.
